BASSETT RANGERS FC (Founded 2006)
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US
Bassett Rangers FC is affiliated to the Wiltshire County FA and we have been awarded the Charter Standard. *
Our training sessions take place at Ballards Ash on the Malmesbury Road, Wootton Bassett on a Saturday morning between 9:30 and 11 am, throughout the year. Our home fixtures take place on a Sunday afternoon @ 2pm.
We pride ourselves in the fact in our 2nd season we won a sportsmanship award.
There are a few basic ideals of which Bassett Rangers FC endeavour to follow:
Undoubted sportmanship both on and off the field. The co-operation of youngsters to join together in sport and learn to achieve their goals, with the wholehearted support of their parents/carers.
Bassett Rangers FC is committed to ensuring every child irrespective of ability who plays in our team has one priority; ENJOYMENT first, the rest will follow.
We also firmly believe in Sportmanship - that is playing the game in the correct spirit, the result of the game is secondary. It is always nice to win though but if the two areas, enjoyment and sportmanship, are followed correctly then everything else will follow.
Our aim is to promote the skills and the knowledge of the basic tecniques of ball control, vision and fair play for all soccer playing children.
Bassett Rangers FC WILL NOT tolerate racism, abuse nor any unruly behaviour whatever within its constitution.
Happy football for the coming season.
* This is awarded to clubs who display a commitment to delivering a quality experience to its players. The club needs to demonstrate that they are well managed, with qualified coaches, adhere to FA Child Protection best practice and in raising standards. Achieving the award is something that everyone at the club is proud of and thanks should go to all the club volunteers for all their efforts in helping the club to reach the standard.
